After we got feedback on the client not approving of the design of the old transpiration level, we decided to go with a forest level to represent transpiration instead. This level turned out really cool having the first 2 block wide enemy and vines that hang down from platforms. Nathan did a fantastic job with the art for this level and it can be seen below.

Nathan also finished the tutorial level artwork going for a very basic and simple art style. We believe this will make more players stay as it slowly introduces different controls and sprites without the start being too busy.

The landscape is finally finished. The last step was to make some sort of complex animation which Nathan was able to do. In the end we went with a calm campfire scene with a wild dog.

The dog has an idle animation of sitting and 3 other animations that occur randomly. The dog will randomly lay down, move its back legs and stretch it's front paw.

Nathan also added some particle and lighting effects to the fire to make it more realistic but also keeping the art style consistent.

Next to the campfire, Nathan was able to set up a scene to look like where a hiker might have stayed. The lighting effect used with the torch looks really cool and realistic.

Nathan was able to produce some really cool sprites and background art for the town level. This was the first level to incorporate the player going behind objects so Nathan made a cool transparent pipe for players to slide down.

The background art for the level is also really cool and fits in with the theme of the level nicely.
